10 am to 1 pm
BioGas – Living off the grid – renewable energy workshop with Vincent Martineau and Jessica Worley from the prestigious McGill University in Montreal, Canada
10am - 10:30 am -Understanding Biogas : The principles of bioGas as a renewable energy
10:30 - 11am - Biopgas experiment - make a small demonstration batch for igniting later in the day - learn how to make it, see it on FIRE
11pm - 12:30 - Build a real Biogas machine; showing a "live" prototype that will eventually be used at the lodge. Learn how to build it, what it does and how to operate it safely.
21:30 pm to 1 pm - Discussing different designs that can be used depending on the needs of the people.

Both the BioGas and Biodiesel workshops will involve smaller groups moving from task to task. Hands on practical experience enabling all participants to gain a better understanding of the systems.

BioDiesel - Driving Green - renewable energy workshop with Handel Collender from a biodiesel manufacturing compnay in Barbados
This workshop will show the principles of BioDiesel production.
2 pm to 2:30pm : Understanding Biogdiesel : The principles of BioDiesel as a renewable energy
2:30 - 3pm - Exploring the different methods available to create biodiesel
