The BioGas Helpline from India will be making a presentation at EcoFest on Sunday night, May 3rd about harnessing biogas, and funding your own plant, and the Exhibition will feature information and technical details on making your own BioGas plant.
Throughout EcoFest we will be actually building a small BioGas plant here at Rosalie Forest Eco Lodge. If you are a farmer, you will be interested in this; use your farm manure to make your own free cooking gas. NO MORE PROPANE SHORTAGES!!!
Kalinago Barana Aute - The Carib Model Village
The Kalinago (or Carib) indigenous people of Dominica, have a model village in the heart of The Carib Indian Territory, some 3000 square miles of land in the east of Dominica. Throughout the ecoFest Exhibition they will have an exhibit explaining the culture and history of the Kalinago people, as well as information about the model village. On Tuesday 6th May, the Carib Territory Tour will include a visit to the model village.

A small Dominica based travel compnay offering iasland wide accommodation and working mainly with the smaller establishments, will showcasing some of the locally owned smaller hotels and guest houses in Dominica.

A small local renwable energy retailer will be displaying a range of equipment, including their latest solar powered freezer.
EcoFest is being held at rosalie Forest Eco Lodge. A walk around the property will show you various forms of renewable energy in practise and staff will be available to answer all your renewable energy questions; see our own systems in operation and learn about how it all works, simple and easy.
High quality Local crafts
Frankie Phillip, a local craftsmen will be at the festival, displaying a wide range of high quality local craft. On EcoFest day 2, Frankie will be running a craft wotrkshop where you can learn how they are made and designed.
Meet the craftsman, learn how it is done, and if you do buy, know your money is going to the actual creator, no middle man.

Be inspired by the beauty of The Nature Isle of the Caribbean, Dominica.
Chari Du Mond, MFA, who has been widely exhibited in the United States and the Caribbean, will be at EcoFest displaying her amzing talent, and offering some incredible art for you to display at your home or business. Meet the artist and buy direct.UNDP SGP funded projects
Including a Community Furniture Group from the Dominica village of Petite Savanne, who will be dispalying their project, explaining it, and showing you how to do the same in other communities for all to benefit.

All exhibition participants will have a table in the main marquee every day, with 2 chairs. The marquee will be lit at night. Exhibition participants are welcome to bring their own backdrops, posters etc...
Marquee stalls will be sized maximum 8"x 8".
Special requests are possible, but may incurr extra charges.
Exhibitors will, alternatively, be welcome to bring their own stall and set up in any of the designated stall areas around the property.
The cost of a booth at EcoFest Exhibition 2009 will be :
EC$800 / US$$300 per week
EC$200 / US$80 per day
Dominica Nationals Special rates:
EC$400 per week
EC$100 per day
Non profit organisations and those not selling products can exhibit for free.
