Opening the EcoFest Conference Exhibition

We are delighted to announce that our local parliamentary representative, The Honourable Mre. Abraham browne, will be opening of The EcoFest Exhibition with a few words of wisdom with a very local point of view.
From May 5, 2005 has been the Parliamentary Representative for the Morne Jaune/Riviere Cyrique Constituency comprising the villages of Grand Fond, Morne Jaune and Riviere Cyrique.
He is one of the seven (7) Parliamentarians of the Opposition, United Workers Party.On completion of high school he was successfully completed a Diploma in Tropical Agriculture with the Bennett College. An accomplished typist, he worked in the field of journalism, broadcasting, band management and publishing, Public Library, Social Services Sector, Small Business Sector, a Self Employed Farmer and a Sports Officer.
In the Small Business field, Abraham completed program in the Promotion of small scale enterprises in Developing Countries at the Canfield, School of Management in England in 1983. His sensitization to sustainable development began at that program after a visit to Wales.
As a Member of Parliament, among other things, his goal is to see Sustainable Development as one of the driving forces of our economic development linking all the key areas in a coordinated effort and to attempt to involve the immediate region in organizing for its long term development coordinated approach.
